How do I register?

Signing up for Whakoom is very easy. Just create your account and confirm your email.

Create your account

You can create your account from the web or the app using the Register button and filling out the form. You just need to choose a username, an email, and a password and, of course, it's free. We suggest adding your real name, to make it easier for your friends to find you.

And that's it! Welcome. We only ask for four pieces of information and, of these, only 3 are necessary to complete the registration. We will not ask you where you are from, your age, gender, education level, or life story. It’s not that we aren’t interested, it’s that we promise not to trade your data and not asking for it is the best way to prove it to you.

Once registered, you can start using Whakoom, but remember we need you to confirm your email.

Why do I need to confirm my email?

We need you to confirm your email address, so we know that you are you and that you own the email address you used to sign up. We ask this for your safety. This way we prevent some smart people from creating an account in your name to receive messages from a service that you don't know or to which you haven't given your consent.
