I can't find what I'm looking for, can I create it?

Of course! Whakoom is a collaborative site and all the comic books and series that you find in Whakoom have been created entirely by its users.

Before you get down to it, search well and in various ways before creating anything new to avoid duplicates. Whakoom has hundreds of thousands of comic book files and it’s rare that the specific one you are looking for is not already registered.

If you still can't find the comic you're looking for, you can create it in no time.

How to register a new comic book or collection

If the search engine does not find what you are looking for, or has few results, it will suggest creating it.
The system will ask you to confirm or add information about:

• Title
• Language
• Published issues
• Publisher

That is the minimum information needed to create a new comic or collection. The rest: cover, authors, etc., you can add now or later.

If you don't know some information, it doesn't matter. At Whakoom, we do it together and surely some other reader will complete the file. Be careful, this is important: Before creating a file, check that you have written everything correctly, without misspellings, with its upper and lower case letters, and that the name corresponds to the one that appears in the comic or the collection.

What can I add?

Whakoom is about comics, but you can also create other entries:

• Official digital editionsFanzines
• Comic-focused magazines
• Animation picture books (anime, etc.)
• Books that, although they do not contain comics, have been included within a comic book collection by their own publisher
• Books that, without being comics, deal entirely with the world of comics, their authors or characters

That's all for now. We know that many readers consider merchandising or some books part of your collection and, in the future, we will make room for it, these are not currently supported on Whakoom: narrative books, merchandising (t-shirts, figures, stickers, etc.) or any material that, although it may be related to a comic, does not fall into one of the above categories. Any collection that does not meet these standards will be removed.
