Signatures and Original art

The signatures that are in your comics are part of your collection, and therefore, they also have their place in Whakoom. Something similar happens with the original art: If you have an original page, you can include it in the comic in which it was published and if it is unpublished material - a commission for example - you can also add it to your Collection, because it's cool and we want to see it!

What can you upload?

We have called it Originals to simplify it, but we mean: All your treasures drawn by professional artists. Now notice, I said broad, not abysmal; We all have a nephew with a crayon box.

• Signatures and original pages in a comic
• Original art of both published and unpublished material (commissions)

How do I upload a signature or art?

You can upload your image from a computer or with the mobile camera. It all depends on whether the image you want to upload is associated with a specific comic or not:

Signatures in a comic

• Web: From the comic you wish to upload the signature, click on the circle Sig , then click on the beneath Original art and Signatures and select the file you wish to upload.
• App: From the comic you wish to upload the signature, tap on the Sig circle and then beneath Original art and Signatures, and then tap again on . You will be able to choose if you wish to upload an image, or to take the picture directly from the app. You can then include a description of the signature and its author.

When you upload your image, it will appear both in the comic screen and your Originals.

If you want to upload a commission or art without linking it to a comic

• Web: From My Collection to My Originals, click  on the top right corner and select the file you wish to upload. You will be able to add a description of the original and its author.
• App:  Go to Collection, Originals, tap on on the top right corner and then tap again on . You will be able to choose between taking a photo directly form the app or uploading one from your gallery.

Once you upload the image, it will appear in your Originals, and you will be able to see it both from your Collection and in your public profile.

How can I delete a Signature or an Original Art?

There are a lot of reasons for deleting a Signature or Original, but there's only one important thing to know: Thjat you can delete it whenever you want. For now, this function is only available in the website version, but it will be coming soon to the app. These are the steps for deleting any Signature or Original:

1. Open the web version of Whakoom and go to My Originals
2. Tap on the signature you wish to delete
3. Press to delete the selected signature

In short: You can upload, or delete, photos of your signatures, and original art, and associate them with the comic where they were published. If it is unpublished material, it will only appear in My Originals.
